All of our local shelters and rescue organizations depend on public support to carry out their missions. You can always help support them through donations, but they also rely on volunteers to assist them in carrying out their work. Volunteers are an integral part of their success.
Volunteers are assigned tasks based on their skills, desires and availability. If you have any time to give, they will find a way to utilize your abilities to ensure that the organization, and you, achieve the maximum benefit from your contribution. They routinely need volunteers to help with walking, socializing and otherwise caring for, and providing love to, homeless pets. They also need help with fundraising events and adoption assistance.
